The Facility offers high-throughput isolation of plasmid DNA from bacterial libraries. This service is focused on rapid turn-around and intimate consultation, training, and interaction with clients, and is thus ideal for beginners or for intermediate-size projects requiring immediate execution. For this service, clients are strongly urged to consult with Facility staff prior to initiating cultures. Our house protocol utilizes the traditional alkaline lysis, and produces DNA suitable for DNA sequencing and polymerase chain reaction. Additionally, customized isolation protocols are readily available.
